As my second term comes to an end, I couldn't be more pleased with our progress and the health of the NBPOA community. I hope that I have promoted a culture of kindness and friendship. My gratitude for your board of directors is endless. They are tireless volunteers.

AED Training Update and Kayaks for Use

Our next general meeting will be held on Friday January 26, 8pm at the Moriches Bay Recreation Facility, 313 Frowein Rd. Center Moriches. This is a renovated, larger and more comfortable space. A discussion of our 2024 budget and the annual election of your board members will take place.

It was a great year for the NBPOA, with more improvements to our waterfront piece of heaven and six very successful social events. Hopefully you made it down to some or all our functions which are all free with your membership, except for our "Music Under the Stars", and that only costs $10. for an exceptional night of live music at the beach. Have any suggestions for another new event?

I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and New Year, gathering with the people most important to them. Let's keep that spirit going all year.

The first 6 months in this new position have been very exciting, educational and at times, quite frustrating. Dealing with all the different personalities, government agencies, and red tape ……wow!

I am honored, humbled and excited about being chosen for this position. I pledge my honesty, integrity, and conscientiousness - and hopefully limitless energy.

We had a good winter and the marina doesn't appear to have any major issues to address. There are a number of boards around the marina that we are in the process of replacing to ensure that the boardwalks are safe.
